I have developed a price comparison for money transfers

Main Post:

Hi guys,

since 2016 I am working on CompareTransfer, a price comparison for international money transfers.

My tool helps you to find the cheapest money transfer by comparing the fees and live exchange rates of TransferWise, CurrencyFair, Azimo, InstaRem, WorldRemit and TransferGo, XendPay.

If you are not in the USA, you can usually find the cheapest money transfer provider in over 5000 corridors.

Please use CompareTransfer for your next money transfer, so I will be able to maintain and grow the project.

Currently the Site is only doing about 300$ per month, which is not enough to maintain the project and integrate new providers.

You also can follow us on Mixcloud to listen over 44 hours of the freshest house music.

Comparison of the Dire Straits album Money For Nothing between CD, Cd remastered in 1996, streaming and vinyl of the new 2022 remastering

Main Post:

Here's the comparison of album between CD (1988), CD (1996), Qobuz 2022 remastered ( 24 bits 192 kHz) and Vinyl.

This album is an example of the impact that remastering can have on compression. The compression increases with each new remastering as shown in the graph below:

To get an idea of the impact when listening, you can listen to the samples at 3 levels of compression and vinyl, and find all the measurements (DR, Spectrum, waveform...) on

Top Comment: Can some one tell me why they seem to all do this? I was having a conversation last night about this. The used records i have from flea markets and used book stores that were from the 70 and 80s and were used as frisbees seem to sound better than my 180 gram re masters that I buy in thick sleeves and fancy packages. What gives? Why don’t they just straight press the way they used to?

Hitman 3 Vs Hitman Blood money Gameplay Comparison

Main Post: Hitman 3 Vs Hitman Blood money Gameplay Comparison

Top Comment:

This is awesome news! I have always loved the hitman series , every instalment. Blood money was amazing. Absolution had its own charm, but it was no blood money. When I heard they did a reboot I was a little nervous that the series would stray even farther from blood money, but I absolutely love the new series. At first I felt off playing, but once I got used to it I fell in love. I felt just like the video stated combing elements of blood money with a new generation.

These levels are huge and gorgeous, I have fun just taking a stroll taking in the gorgeous levels, wondering what opportunity I might stumble across. I am glad to hear 3 is even better.

I made a website to compare Savings accounts, money market funds, and treasuries

Main Post:

https://yieldfinder.app/

I was frustrated this tool didn’t exist, so I made it myself.

Determining the after tax yield is the next evolution of the site, but it’s proven to be more complex than I anticipated for all 50 states.

Please let me know if you have any feedback!

Top Comment: Seeing all the different yields in one place is cool. You could always just link to a tax equivalent yield calculator if you don't feel like reinventing the wheel.

Tried Monarch Money, it's the best tracker for a simple budgeter.

Main Post:

After getting fed up with having to manually do so much in Mint, I was on the hunt for something with more automation features and came across Monarch.

Just to be clear, I run on a very simple budget with only 14 total categories. I just want to keep track of where my money is going. This means I'm CONSTANTLY adjusting categories in Mint.

Monarch actually has a fully-fledged rules system that works well. It means I can pop in, check on the budget and get out faster.

I will say I couldn't connect any of my investment accounts (only half worked on Mint anyways) and I like the car value estimator on Mint. But 90% of my time was in re-categorizing which I don't have to do anymore. I also don't use goals which I've heard aren't great in Monarch but ymmv.

If you're like me and have a simple budget it's worth the $8/mo in time I save. Also, I did run into one issue where my home loan was counting towards my net worth and messaged support and they got back to me the next day with a fix which was nice.

Top Comment: no matter how many times i select a transaction from walmart and change it to groceries then check (always do this) it still catogorizes it wrong... Mint is just okay Personal Capital (now Empower) is also better than mint overall imo as well will look at monarch now.
